OUR VISION

Golf Paradise Magazine is a distinctive platform that aims to showcase the talent of Mauritian individuals engaged in the pursuit of golf. Through this publication, we aspire to further promote Mauritius as the ultimate dream destination for all enthusiasts yearning to indulge in this refined sport of precision.

OUR OBJECTIVE

Our aim is to observe the discipline of golf through an innovative lens, embodying a genuine pursuit of aesthetics and journalistic rigor fueled by passionate individuals. The magazine revolves around three key themes – News – Practice – Lifestyle – and seeks to captivate a discerning audience of high socioeconomic status. Golf Paradise Magazine will be distributed free of charge at all golfing venues and selectively available at a range of hotels, restaurants, and specialized boutiques.

There are 80 million golfers worldwide, with approximately 30% being women, varying by country. The female gender represents the segment of the population experiencing the most rapid growth in an industry predominantly facing decline. Their love affair with this sport, fraught with obstacles, clearly dates back to the late 19th century. Ironically, their tenacity and passion for the game now place them in high demand. One of the reasons for the global success of golf is that it proves to be simultaneously the most intricate, deceptive, and even cruel game, occasionally the most disheartening, yet also the most exhilarating that mankind has devised. Cruel, because the countless instilled notions vanish just when they should come into play. And yet, it captivates the interest of each and every individual.

As a sponsor of the Ladies Golf Union, the Golf Federation Mauritius, the Mauritius Telecom Corporate Golf Challenge, the Legend Golf Club, and the SBM Golf Tournament, Golf Paradise aims to be a platform committed to actively supporting the promotion of golf through innovative initiatives and exclusive events. Golf Paradise firmly believes that golf is a sport that transcends borders and provides unparalleled opportunities for personal development and camaraderie. Golf Paradise is determined to shed light on inspiring stories, remarkable achievements, and insightful advice from talented golfers, whether they are seasoned professionals or passionate amateurs.

THREE FOCAL POINT

SACHIN SAGAR, PHOTOGRAPHER

Sachin Sagar embarked on his career in one of India’s premier advertising agencies in 1995. He honed his skills by working closely with renowned photographers such as Farookh Chothia, Nitin Upadhyaye, and Vibhash Tiwari. After a few years, he ventured into freelancing and has been the dedicated photographer for various organizations and competitions, including Miss Mauritius, Miss India-Mauritius, Mrs. Mauritius, Miss England, Miss Eco, and Miss Supranational. As the founder of Newstyle magazine, Sachin Sagar has also been the official photographer for Essentielle magazine for over a decade, contributing a monthly fashion editorial to the publication. In addition to Essentielle, Sachin Sagar has collaborated with People Magazine, Lifestyle, Menstyle, Automoto, and Business Magazine.
